When I visit my family in Edmonton I always stop to enjoy some of the best donairs Canada has to offer. Yes I hear you Halifax, the Canadian donair was born there. But Edmonton has taken that and ran with it! Edmonton has the most donair shops per capita in Canada!Simply Donairs does it right. Simple ingredients, generous portions and and amazing flavour. I hate donairs with a passion but this is where my friends wanted to go so I agreed. It was spicy, well seasoned and massive. Fresh veg and tons of meat. The only reason I gave a 4 star to the food was the poutine. It was ok but the gravy wasn't tasty and the cheese was really bland. I would recommend this place for sure. The beef was phenomenal.

The meat comes in chunks (not shaved like other places), and the donair poutine is extra saucy! I always order the small one and usually I can’t go through everything because it is a big portion (see picture). I regret every time I get donair poutine somewhere else. Besides that, the employees are always very nice and polite.
