Menu
A comprehensive menu of Second Cup Café from Edmonton featuring all 7 meals and drinks can be found here on the menu.
Second Cup offers a cozy atmosphere ideal for studying, with friendly staff and reliable Wi-Fi. Though praised for its calm ambiance and decent menu—particularly cold brews and baked goods—recent visits have highlighted a decline in quality, particularly with stale pastries and improperly prepared drinks. Complaints about inconsistent service, long wait times, and overly sweet beverages have emerged. While the café's charm and pleasant seating make it a popular choice, many patrons are beginning to reconsider their loyalty, with some opting for competitors to avoid disappointment. Overall, a little more consistency could elevate this beloved spot.

Was User at Second Cup Café a mag?
The employees at this location and the other one down whyte (which I?ll review as well) go out of there way to provide great service and sample drinks even. I came here to buy latte syrup and the employees were so so kind and helpful!!! I have had such great experiences here, the only thing I would suggest is finding a more cafe themed playlist that isn?t so loud. View all feedback.
What User dislikes about Second Cup Café:
Normally this situation is really good, but today we have waited 20 minutes for our latte without anyone in front of us in the line, and I got a super mega sweet caramel or maple latte (coma inducing sweetness) when I asked for a regular vanille bean latte. View all feedback.
My daughter and I visited to indulge in our favorite drinks and some desserts. Unfortunately, we were quite disappointed with both the quality of the iced coffees and the cakes. The iced coffees were poorly made, and both cakes were stale—the lemon loaf was especially dry. We ended up spending a lot of money and could only share one coffee that was actually acceptable, while everything else went to waste. The only positive aspect of our visit was the friendly staff member. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.
I enjoyed a massive brownie alongside a vanilla bean latte. The experience was quite typical of a café, featuring soft music, a peaceful ambiance, and reasonably comfortable seating. It's a fantastic spot for reading, studying, or unwinding.
Usually this location is really good, but today we waited 20 minutes for our lattes with no one ahead of us in line, and I was given a super mega sweet caramel or maple latte (coma inducing sweetness) when I asked for a regular vanilla bean latte.
I would normally give this place five stars because it's usually a fantastic Second Cup location. However, I've noticed a decline in quality during my visits over the past couple of weeks.
