Was Ellie Heilbronn at Rice 101 a mag?
"Just a quick update: I highly suggest trying everything on the menu except for the potstickers/dumplings. On our recent visit, we decided to order them and discovered that they are the same ones available at Costco, complete with the same sauce, but significantly overpriced. It's definitely better to focus on the house-made dishes.".
What Laxo Looloo dislikes about Rice 101:
The food is incredibly flavorful and absolutely delicious! However, there are moments when the rice bowls could benefit from additional toppings. While there's a generous amount of rice, the tasty ingredients could be more plentiful. Some dishes are outstanding, but others can fall flat. I stopped by for a quick takeout while passing through. The food took about 15 minutes to prepare since it was later in the evening. I ordered two spicy pork bowls and two bulgogi beef bowls. The portions were generous and reasonably priced. I found the flavor of the pork bowl to be more to my liking, as the beef was sweet and mild—ideal for kids! I would definitely order from here again. The food is outstanding, so you should definitely give it a try! Unfortunately, their hours aren't very consistent, but it's truly delicious.

While there's a generous amount of rice, the tasty ingredients could be more plentiful. Some dishes are outstanding, but others can fall flat. Unfortunately, tonight was one of those disappointing evenings with too few toppings. I can’t help but suspect that it might be due to differences among the chefs. It’s hard to justify paying $60 for a bowl that mainly consists of rice.
