Was Anonym at Pho King a mag?
I’m visiting from Cape Breton and would give this restaurant a 13 out of 5 if I could! The portion sizes are very generous. I highly recommend the pork chops over rice, and you absolutely must try the green onion cakes—they're a must-have! The prices are definitely reasonable for what you get. Overall, I would rate it a solid 4 out of 5! View all feedback.
What David Co dislikes about Pho King:
I had a rather disappointing experience dining at this restaurant today. The food took significantly longer to arrive than it typically does, and the service was quite unfriendly. The broth of my pho was excessively salty, almost as if the chef had mistakenly added an entire cup of salt instead of the usual MSG. We ended up spending around $70-80 for four people, but we all left feeling full yet extremely unsatisfied... View all feedback.
We decided to try another neighborhood restaurant and passed a lovely Friday, evening, relaxing, eating, doing crossword puzzles and watching life at this inviting eatery. There is also a tv for those needing their sports hit.The dishes were generous and nicely done. I've eaten a lot of vietnamese food and was happy with the quality, especially the pho broth. There were groups of diners coming, going, meeting others and chatting with the friendly family (two teenage children helping out). The restaurant was full, yet we never felt rushed. Renos are finished. Clean fresh decor. The owner was gracious and interested in getting to know us in spite of how busy he was. I think we'll be dropping by this homey locale again soon. And it's a bonus that we can ask friends if they want to join us at Pho King
Delicious broth and meat. I had the p3 which was pho soup with beef brisket and beef tendon. Very delicious.Cilantrol, basil, green onions yum. Oligatory plate of fresh garnishes accompany including peppers, lime wedges, sprouts and basil leaves. Also green onion cakes are the best i've ever had.

This place opened up a while ago and I have wanted to give it a try and did that over the weekend. It wasn't too busy when I got there with my family. It didn't take long before we were asked what to drink and shortly after asked if we were ready to order. We all wanted some sort or vermicelli bowls so that what we got. It didn't take too long before our orders were out. Food tasted okay and not the best; I have had better. Overall, restaurant looks clean, fast @friendly staff, fast service and food tasted okay. Will definitely be back to try other dishes.
