The kids typically like one of the big chains for our breakfasts while on holiday, but convinced them to try something different. Glad we did as the pancakes were far superior to what we typically get at that major chain, and the sausages were excellent also. Service was good, and pricing reasonable. We'll definitely be back next time we're in the area. View all feedback.
What Robert G doesn't like about Newcastle Pub:
Stopped by to have a quick bite between meetings, had a steak sandwich special for 9.95.the server was very pleasant and the food service was fast and steak was cooked correctly and served hot. Good place for a quick bite and a cold Dos Equis, will return. View all feedback.
We had to take the wife's car in to get the muffler repaired. After we dropped the car off we had about 45 minutes to wait so we decided to stop in for brunch. We were pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was bright and clean. The waitress was talkative and courteous. My wife had the Waffles and I had the meat lovers skillet. We were both satisfied with the portions and flavors. It was definitely worth stopping in for a bite and was reasonably priced.

Years ago I frequented Lumberjacks Sportsman's Pub a few times a week. So some years later I thought I'd give it a whirl with the guys for breakfast. Went into the lounge side (Sportsmans) just before noon. The red eye special was steak eggs with a pint for under $12!! I opted for the sausage and eggs while my partners had an omelette with potato pancakes on the side. He claimed the latkes and omelette were outstanding. My sausages and eggs was great. Served with 4 link sausages (Beef or pork) fantastic home fries and rye toast. Coffee was plentiful and for an additional $2 you can upgrade to Bailey's coffee. Our waitress was very attentive and quite friendly. Prices at LJ's are on the inexpensive side. Burgers are huge, portion sizes on all meals I've had in the past have been large so come hungry.
Been there at 12am they were closed. Wrong business hours. Had to pay the cab for that !!
I've come here a few times for a quick drink (or two) at lunchtime, but it's certainly not a first-choice type of joint.
