Was Anonym at Mongolia Express a mag?
This is a great place to fill your stomach. It's not pretentious (2 wall mounted TVs, a couple of Asian prints). Mongolian style BBQ: big iron stove top, you plunk raw food into a silver bowl, they cool then call out your number. Just matter of fact place to eat Chinese style food at your leisure. Nothing else. What Anonym dislikes about Mongolia Express:
The amount of food in more than adequate, although there is a warning that there is an extra charge of $2 for each hundred grams above the 2 pounds each person is allowed. There was an offering of thinly-sliced chicken and beef as well as pieces of fish and squid. A variety of vegetables was present and there were three types of noodles available. I went with two friends and had a great meal. I got the 8.50 meal and it was delicious. Fresh veggies, tofu, and noodles. I would recommend it.

You are given a metal bowl to fill with your choice of raw meats, vegetables and noodles, topped with sauce and ready to be grilled while you watch. A good selection of fresh choices and a great. Fill the bowl as full as you can. Delicious.Tables are washed and food station looks clean but the overall restaurant looks a little grungy, especially the plastic water jugs.If they cleaned it up I'm sure their business would double.

The portion sizes are ample at this restaurant, but be aware that there is a $2 fee for every 100 grams over the 2-pound limit per person. They offer thin cut chicken, beef, fish, and squid, along with a variety of vegetables and three types of noodles. After filling your bowl, a staff member pours sauce over everything and fries it for a uniform flavor. The dish may vary slightly in texture. The total cost for two drinks and a shared meal was $20.20.
