I've been craving for some Korean food for so long and my friend took me to this Korean restaurant downtown. The resto's unassuming facade makes you wonder if the food was good enough to suit the diverse cultural palates of Edmontonians. But once you step into the awning, you'd feel as if you've been swept into a different world--a magical place. The interior was bright and cozy. There's an authentic but distinct feel to it that makes you miss home. It makes you feel relaxed and peaceful. It felt like someone just switched something on deep inside you and you'd just stand there gaping in awe.The hosts are very accomodating. There was only one nice lady taking orders and doing the serving by herself so it took some time for our food to be served but that was nothing compared to the camaraderie and the light atmosphere as well as the excellent service offered by Lee House. The food was as delicious and as authentic as far as Korean dishes go but it was made less spicy to cater to patrons and customers not used to the fiery hot dishes Koreans are known for. I prefer the fiery hot Korean food but the pork cutlets and soft tofu soup as well as the kimchi bean paste stew we had was enough to send my friend and I to heaven and back. I'll never get tired of going back to eat at this place. Guess what. We didn't realize we've been savoring the food as well as the surroundings that we stayed for almost 2 hours. Daebak! That's a Korean expression that shows disbelief but in a good way, leaning a little bit towards a feeling of awesomeness.
Korean Restaurant It is also a delicious food that has a taste and taste. I've been eating half of the season, so I'm so satisfied. 한 한
The food and service was good. There were only 2 waitstaffs but they are really efficient and fast. Food came out faster than expected and tasted really good. There were 4 available appetisers and they give you refills if you ask for them, they also have free hot tea and water. Overall, very satisfied with the food and the ambience, although a bit pricey for me.
Once again, the chicken tasted different and was not the same as before. It did not remind me of Korean fried chicken, as there was almost no batter on it. Overall, I would rate the service a 2 out of 5 and the food a 3 out of 5.
I decided to check this place, bc the reviews were really promising and I was not disappointed whatever! I have the seafood pancakes and black bean noodles. they have a really warm and welcoming atmosphere and the waitress was so friendly. I would definitely recommend to them there is an attempt for authentic Korean food.
