was too scared to go alone. I must say, I was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, the service was friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious. We tried a variety of dishes and each one was better than the last. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant and highly recommend it to others. Don't always believe everything you read online - sometimes you have to experience things for yourself. This place was definitely worth the visit!
A group of us went to Harambee Cafe for lunch and enjoyed a delicious meal of typical Eritrean foods. Since there were 10 of us we had made a reservation and arranged to have assorted dishes prepared for us. That means I didn't really get to see a menu however everything we had was delicious. The food was arranged on the typical injera type of bread that was places on each of the plates and ones tears off pieces of the bread to eat the various dishes. Forks are also available! Our platters each had a meat dish, vegetables, salad and lentils and I enjoyed everything. The price was a very reasonable $20 per person and this included both tax and tip.
