read moreThe Free Press Bistro, located in Downtown Edmonton, offers a limited menu specializing in panini style sandwiches. The restaurant is conveniently located in the Holiday Inn Express, making it a good choice for hotel guests who prefer not to venture out. The food and service at the bistro are generally good, with standout options like the Kubla Khan panini and the beet salad with roasted chicken. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with friendly and knowledgeable staff. While the menu may be limited, the quality of the food is impressive, with options for both vegans and non-vegans alike. The restaurant also offers a nice variety of wine, beer, and spirits to complement the meal. Despite being located near a busy bus stop, the Free Press Bistro is a hidden gem that offers delicious food and a pleasant dining experience for visitors and locals alike.
