Saturday afternoon, got 2 sandwiches, 2 sides, and a drink with my wife. Sandwiches were delicious, however, in my wife’s broccoli salad as soon as she opened the lid there was a HAIR. She immediately went up to the register and notified staff. They apologized and got her a new side of fruit. We eat 2/3 of the fruit only to find a ANOTHER HAIR wrapped around a grape in the cup. Notified staff again, they just apologized. We left right away and won’t be back.
Came here while waiting for my jeep to be fixed. My sandwich was so good. The bread was nice and soft and fresh . Will be back again
This restaurant offers delicious food, especially their pies which are exceptional. I tried the caramel apple pie and it was unbelievably good. However, the prices are on the higher side which is a downside. Despite this, if you're willing to splurge on a pie, this is definitely the place to do it.
Always such a treat to stop by for a sandwich, soup and pie! Best pie crusts and homemade bread around!
The prices are now insane! I used to go to F&D for a sandwich at least once a week as the food was fresh and fast, but the prices have climbed too high in the last three years... $12 for a turkey sandwich (no cheese) and a water, take out! They are also now charging an additional $0.15 for a paper bag, have the POS machine asking for a tip and the bread was not fresh today. If I'm paying $12 for a sandwich, I want fresh bread and I'm not giving a tip. As of today, I'm finding somewhere else to get lunch or making a sandwich at home.Parking: Parking can get tough during midweek.
