Got here about 12:15 ... the place was busy which is a positive. The locals suggested the pulled pork sandwich ... so made the order. Based upon about 8 people ahead of us, figured we'd have a 10 to 15 minute wait ... well it was almost a half hour until we received the sandwich. There was probably about ten people that ordered after us that received their sandwich ahead of us - the guy explained some sandwiches take longer ... which was really not the case as they just kept moving our ticket to the end for some unknown reason - they just screwed up on the tickets. Very disappointed in the wait but hoped the sandwich would make up for it - well it didn't.The sandwich was small, had very little meat on it and I wouldn't distinguish it from any other pulled pork sandwich I've ever eaten. So again very disappointed. And from a value perspective, $12 for the small sandwich, another $3.50 for a small glass of lemonade and we even gave a 15% tip when we ordered. For almost $18, could have had a much better meal just about anywhere in the area. Now I know they were busy and it seemed there were a few people behind the counter that looked stressed / inexperienced - so for that reason I didn't give an overall one-star rating as believe that when at their best, the service is likely better. Although not sure they could do better on the sandwiches unless they made them a bit larger with more meat and ingredients in them. If we hadn't had to get back to work and eat on the run, would have taken it back and requested a refund. Not sure that I will be back and certainly won't be singing their praises.
Interesting concept- excellent use of a tight space. Fascinating, yet overpriced, artwork and graphics. Came in specifically for the vegan faux-naif, which was not spectacular but definitely edible. My partner loved the pulled pork and dill-slaw sandwich. Staff were quiet and not overly friendly, and there's only seeing for three, but it is a really great idea to keep improving on. Check their website as the menu is constantly rotating (which I love.)
Farrow sandwiches is one of those trendy diners. It won't be around long. The sandwich I had was sloppy and left me hungry. This place is not for anyone hungry. Maybe if you're planning on eating again in the next hour or so, come here for an expensive snack. I'm sure most people could make a sandwich in their own kitchens that would be better than this place. The only thing worse than the food was the service, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
