After honing his skills at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology, he gained invaluable experience in Vancouver's top hotels, including the Westin Bayshore and the Shangri-La. Influenced by culinary greats like Montgomery Lau and Michelin-starred chef Jean George, Neil learned the art of Neapolitan-style pizza at the Culinary Concept restaurant, Market. His extensive training, particularly in pizza dough preparation, has allowed him to blend over a decade of industry expertise with a fervent dedication to crafting delicious vegan dishes. The vegan pizzas and other dishes here are delicious! I came with my friend who has celiac disease, and there were plenty of gluten-free options available for her. While the prices are a bit on the higher side, the quality makes it worth it.
The restaurant is beautifully designed and clean. The portion sizes are generous, and the prices are reasonable!
Die Pie is my new go-to for vegan pizza. I tried both the Buffalo Chicken and the Bacon Mac Cheese and they were AMAZING. I also had the spinach artichoke dip and it was phenomenal, and the chocolate mousse was dreamy! Their pizzas are non-greasy, crust is light and fluffy, toppings are fresh, sauces are flavourful. Cannot recommend enough!!
