Was OneEyedFred at Cavern a mag?
Its small. No arguing that. Not much of a view from the basement either but you will find great coffee, tea, cheese and charcuterie plates. Its a great place for a meeting for coffee and a small bite anytime of day and they do have a knowledgeable staff that will steer you the right way when you want some cheese to take home as well.Service is always fast and friendly. It's easy to miss on 104 street, but just a few steps down, you'll find a cozy, warm space surrounded by soft lighting and gorgeous brick wall.
Multiple places were closed, so accidentally ended up at Cavern and it was a pleasant surpriseThe owner was very friendly and very accommodating.
What a fantastic and unassuming café! You could easily walk by it as it is in the basement off of 104 Street but once you find it, you will never pass it again! From a huge selection of cheeses, some cured meats, awesome bread and a really good selection of wines. This is a perfect location for a sandwich, a cheese or charcuterie plate with coffee, tea or WINE so I do hope you will visit one of our favourite cafes the next time you are in DT Edmonton
To be honest, I found them by pure luck, while checking out picnics to go. So glad I did! Ordered through email, picked up in person and enjoyed an awesome picnic lunch with my dad and dog :)Thank you guys! Will definitely be back to try more and highly recommend the Omnivore Picnic Box!

The knowledgeable staff provide top-notch service and the cheese selection is unparalleled. With generous pours, delicious food, and a welcoming vibe, this place is a must-visit for anyone craving a fine dining experience in a laid-back setting.

This restaurant is a gorgeous and impeccably clean establishment that has a very spacious and open atmosphere. It feels more like a café than a traditional restaurant. We enjoyed their decent selection of drinks and ordered a craft beer and a glass of wine. This is a great spot for grabbing drinks!
A great discovery. The food was excellent, with a wonderful selection of beers and wines. They have a wide variety of cheeses and the staff was incredibly knowledgeable. The service was attentive but not overbearing. I will definitely be returning.
Good service, tasty charcuterie, and love the intimate atmosphere, whether it's for lunch or dinner. I have gone three times and will not be stopping anytime soon! Makes you feel like you're in a meat and cheese market in old France.
