Contribute FeedbackSelect Restaurant in Edmonton offers an "international" cuisine, but mainly focuses on Indian dishes. The tandoori chicken and chicken biryani were found to be lackluster, although the tomato soup was outstanding. Some menu items were unavailable, including desserts. The ambience is lovely, and the staff is nice, but overall falls short as a contender for high dining in the city. Mixed reviews on the food quality, with some finding it average or disappointing, while others enjoyed the dishes. The service received mixed opinions, ranging from terrible during lunch hours to prompt and great for others. Overall, some patrons had good experiences and enjoyed the delicious, freshly made food, while others felt it didn't live up to the level of being one of the best restaurants in Edmonton.
Disappointed in the food, and price. I saw the reviews and thought it would be good to try it. But I was disappointed. Their menu is not even listed on their website.
Excellent Restaurant Went in March 2020 for a after work business supper. Nice decor and friendly staff. Varied menu with some Indian and some Italian with some American food. All 12 people with us were happy with their choices. Would recommend for all occasions
Best butter chicken I have ever had, and the garlic naan was an excellent accompaniment. Restaurant is tucked into a side street just off Jasper a few blocks west of downtown. Very reasonably priced.
As I was looking for a Halal restaurant to have a meal in Edmonton, I came across Select Restaurant. The menu had a wide selection of meals to choose from, but the one that caught my eye was the prawn biriyani. I request them to make it extra spicy, and they did not disappoint. The meal was delicious, and I would recommend it to anyone who's looking for a biriyani fix.
The food and ambience were great! Friendly staff also. Love the butter chicken and hot fresh naan bread. So delicious!
