Boston Pizza - Edmonton

They could not get order right nor get the proper ingredients in what we ordered.... read more We have been BP customers for over twenty years. We dine in and we order home. They could not get order right nor get the proper ingredients in what we ordered. Very sad that it seems to be losing ground in such a low economy.

We are BIG BP's fans! Love their consistency with the menu. Well...not so much here. We're not from EDM But decided on this rest. to take our daughter out on he... read more We are BIG BP's fans! Love their consistency with the menu. Well...not so much here. We're not from EDM But decided on this rest. to take our daughter out on her first year. We ordered our usual and the lack of sauce and cheese...well...the whole pizza was pathetic! Disappointed as we treat ourselves every once in a while to this and we look soooo forward to the yummy pizza's at this chain. The service was off too. They only had one guy waitress on for the whole top floor. Felt bad for the guy.

We ordered an appetizer (cactus cut potatoes which were quite good) and I ordered the Thai Chicken Bites as my main course. My husband's steak came out fine but my food...was cold (not Luke warm actually cold) so I sent it back, which is something I rarely do. The waitress returned with my remade food unusually quickly and said in a whisper that she stole it from another order and it was freshly remade. BUT when I looked at the plate, I could see the pieces of chicken, each of which I had taken a small bite out of to check the temperature... so they had just reheated my food and slapped more sauce on it. I showed this to the waitress and she was obviously flustered. I don't know if she was aware of what had happened or whether it was the kitchen that did this but she did comp my chicken along with our appetizer and my husband's dessert which I appreciated. However, I post this as a warning to people with allergies etc. If you send your food back because of an issue/allergy/intolerance, please make sure that the food that comes out the second time is actually new food and not just microwaved.

I can tell you right now that Tegan really cares about the customers...she serves. Not only is she a great lady and great worker, but the magic behind her ability to get the food out to her customers on time, has a lot to do with her humility. She is human being and the consumate humble one. (truly a one of a kind) She should be the Manager at this Boston Pizza. That would really lighten the load for Terry the owner of this great establishment. Then there's another bunch of workers who show good work ethic at this location, they are Phill, Chandika Brittany and Michael. These are the evening Boston Pizza Crew who keep them all coming back for the best pasta and service in town! I rate this crew's work at out of Pizza Pies.

My parents and I went to Boston Pizza for dinner and it was great. I tried their Quinoa burger and it was delicious.
