I am writing to complaint about my recent frustrating experience I had with one of your staff who unfortunately turned out to be the manager at your location at... read more I am writing to complaint about my recent frustrating experience I had with one of your staff who unfortunately turned out to be the manager at your location at 10823 Kingsway NW around 6:30 pm , I am extremely displeased and disappointed with the way Mayblyn (or that 's what the other staff said treated us and asked us to PAY OR LEAVE!!! ,we made an order with 3 coupons with total of $30.97+tax,however,they charged us $36.51, when we asked to correct it ,the manager said that it 's an automatic calculation in the system does and they cannot correct it, when we asked her as a MANAGER!!! to make a discount or to upgrade our drink as a compensation of your own system glitch , she answered no in a rude way then pushed the coupons back and said you can complain to the customer service ,so we asked to cancel the order, the manager rolled her eyes and said WELL NOW HE WANTS TO CANCEL THE ORDER I asked the manager for her name and told her this is a disrespectful way to deal with a customer ,she refused to give me her name saying(I DON 'T HAVE TO GIVE YOU MY NAME and so did all the other staff who were clearly afraid of her and ignoring my request to have her name ,I refused to leave until one of the staff said her name is Mayblyn (the manager covering the shift at that time I have been a loyal customer of A&W for over 6 years , the staff is always super friendly , except for this Mayblyn who was a live example of rudeness and mistreatment and a very bad example for A&W staff member, she should definitely be retrained how to deal with humans and learn some good manners , she doesn 't even deserve a zero star

Make sure you ch... read more Absolutely the WORSE, most impolite A&W in the city. Unprofessional and refuses to scan coupons. The prices on the drive through are incorrect. Make sure you check the price before you tap your card. The price is likely wrong. This has happened to me twice at this location. BEWARE. I told them that I was charged for the wrong product! I was charged for a ice latte when I had a simple black ice coffee!

She didn't te... read more My old man wanted some pop so I ordered a small pop, didn't notice price for pop. A&W doesn't serve small size, only medium $1.97 and large $2.39. She didn't tell me and gave me a small pop(in a very small size cup) for the price of a medium. Says its $1.97, but charges me for large, $2.39 GST. Normally I chalk it up to error, but 2 coincidences in a row tells me she's scamming me. She's probably related to franchise owner, figures I wouldn't complain over 50 cents overcharge. She was right, I didn't complain. But its the principle of it. I mean its not like getting a tire change at Canadian Tire where they damage my 1 year old tire and say I need to buy a new one for $90.
