The Hook, Seafood Broiler Spirits

I was impressed by this place and decided to give it a try, and we've been coming back regularly ever since. The seafood is consistently delicious, and I haven't been disappointed yet. The clam chowder is among the best I've ever had! The staff is always excellent and takes great care of us.

I recently discovered this restaurant, and I must say it was amazing. The crab dive dish was incredibly delicious—words can't do it justice! I ordered the chicken armchair Alfredo, while my partner had the hook plate, and both were excellent. The service was outstanding as well. This place is truly a hidden gem, and I will definitely be returning!

I'm so pleased we discovered this little gem! During a brief weekend trip to Seattle, we wandered into an unfamiliar area and stumbled upon The Hook online. It was a seafood restaurant that had great reviews and was conveniently located, so we made a reservation for Saturday night. We were not disappointed! My husband declared his salmon to be perfection, which is high praise coming from someone who is usually quite critical. My shrimp pasta was also fantastic, featuring a generous amount of shrimp cooked in a creamy garlic sauce with mushrooms and onions. We paired this delightful meal with a bottle of 14 Hands Chardonnay. We enjoyed it so much that we returned on Sunday! This time, we had steamed mussels and shrimp with fries. Everything is made in-house and fresh. The fries might be the best I've ever had—hand-cut, crispy on the outside, and creamy on the inside. I finally had to ask for my plate to be taken away to stop myself from regretting the calories! Our servers were friendly and well-informed about the menu. I highly recommend this restaurant!

This little restaurant won't let you down. I went over there because of the Clam Chowder reviews and I wasn't disappointed. Clam Chowder-Steamed Clams in white wine sauce- Halibut Fries, I can say the same about all the fresh ingredients making the food great. The All American Burger I feel obliged to express how good it was! The medium-heavy, well local ground beef Ciabatta bread made it so good. Juicy- tasty- well proportioned burgers.

Decent food, good service. Just stopped in for a snack one afternoon. This was the first time back since the pandemic. Warm (adult) atmosphere, with better acoustics than you'd think using the industrial look (concrete floor and unfinished ceiling exposed pipes etc. Food was good; albeit the chowder seemed microwaved vs. out of a pot. It was their recipe though and very good. Other items were great. Fries were outstanding. Bar wait staff were attentive, but not pushy. Overall. I'll be back.
