The dumplings are delicious, the service is friendly, and you can make a case for it having the best bao in the area. Be sure to try the eggplant and pork dish—it's fantastic! Don't forget to order a side of rice to enjoy with the sauce! View all feedback.

I find it frustrating when people leave negative reviews and attack others for leaving positive reviews. I find it frustrating when people leave negative reviews and attack others for leaving positive reviews. Inflation is causing prices to rise, but we should be thankful that family-run restaurants like Dumpling Generation are still around, serving delicious and authentic food. I believe their suppenknödel kicked rice is the best value for money, even better than Din Tai Fung. I love their fried rice and soupy dumplings, and the way they cut the chicken breast into strips that resemble noodles. The dishes are unique and vegan-friendly, and the staff is attentive and personable.

This place is ridiculously expensive. The 20$ beef hot pot is barely enough for one person, with a few slices of beef and some pieces of tofu and cabbage. We left with 60$ bill for 2 people and still dead hungry. Can't understand all these 5* reviews. Will never come back.

This restaurant is one of the best in our area. The service is always outstanding. Like many restaurants during the pandemic, there may be a wait time issue. Don't believe what some students from certain countries may say, as they may not understand the challenges of running a small Asian business in America. Just ignore them! The best bark soup in town can be found here!

I just returned from this restaurant with some leftovers, and as first-time visitors, we will definitely be coming back! The gentleman who served us was incredibly kind and courteous, and his genuine helpfulness really stood out. The place was spotless and well-maintained; I didn't have to wipe down any dishes or cups like I usually do in other places. Even the water was free from any strange flavors, which may seem like a small detail but is surprisingly common! I also appreciated that the seating arrangement didn’t feel cramped, allowing us to enjoy our meal comfortably. I ordered the Pineapple Fried Rice with pork, chicken, shrimp, and egg, while my partner opted for the Pork Fried Rice with pork, chicken, and egg, minus the vegetables. Since it was our first time trying the food, we both chose the no-spice option. We absolutely loved our meals and had a fantastic experience. I sampled both dishes, and his was delightfully savory while I couldn’t help but exclaim how tasty mine was! He enjoyed his dish so much that he didn’t want to risk changing the flavor by trying mine. If I had to critique, his dish might become a bit too salty for me over time, but that’s probably because I hardly add salt to my food at home, making me more sensitive to flavors. Nonetheless, it was still delicious, and I would have happily devoured it with some extra tea! My dish had a savory flavor as a solid base, reminiscent of the flavors in his but complemented by the tastes of sweet and sour chicken. The balance was just right, enhancing the pineapple without becoming overly sweet or overpowering the other flavors. The base price for the Pork Fried Rice was $15, and the Pineapple Fried Rice was $16. With an additional $2 for each add-on and $3 for the shrimp, my partner’s order came to $22 and mine to $24 before tax and fees. This brought our total just over $50 before tip for an incredibly satisfying meal of the tastiest fried rice we’ve enjoyed in a long time at a charming little restaurant with genuinely friendly staff. Many places with good fried rice price their base dishes around $20, and while there are cheaper options, the exceptional food and service here made it worth every penny. We’re looking forward to our next visit and are happy to indulge in those add-ons again at such a great price!
