Snow Pea, located in a convenient spot, pleasantly surprises customers with its low prices and extremely delicious food. While some customers have expressed disappointment with other Chinese restaurants in the area, Snow Pea offers great tasting dishes at affordable prices. The shrimp fried rice is particularly highlighted for its generous portion size and great flavor. Overall, Snow Pea stands out for providing tasty food without breaking the bank.

We absolutely love pho Ben. Sweetest customer service, they almost treat you like family. Much more intimate then you're typical restaurant. When we walk in they always recognize us no matter how long it's been since we've eaten there. On the food side of things, my opinion, the very BEST flavor. Everything is always freshly cooked; you can WATCH them cook it for goodness sake. The pho broth is simply to die for and the egg rolls are legit. Non of that "out of the freezer" ****. I highly suggest the grilled chicken pho. I had a bad sinus infection several months ago and I seriously ate this close to a week straight.

You'll be a little confused here, so allow me to clarify. Snow Pea is not closed, but has re-branded to Pho Ben Restaurant. Ownership has not changed and you are still able to get your classic dishes you've had from Snow Pea. It seems the owner was selling more Vietnamese dishes than "Chinese". Primary dishes at Pho Ben revolve around the Vietnamese staple, Pho. The restaurant is clean, but looks a little confused right now. The owner/cook are friendly. It's very odd you order/pay at the front desk before being seated. Thankfully my group arrived there a little early before the typical lunch rush starts. I would imagine the front desk ordering/payment system that's currently setup can be a lunchtime nightmare when they're busy. As for Pho, not much of a selection. About 3-4 beef bowls and likewise for chicken...3-4 options. Service was fairly fast. They were out of Spring Rolls, so I ended up ordering 2 egg rolls as an appetizer. The pho bows are the size of my head...so no skimping here. I also don't recall being asked what bowl size I wanted, but I also the last to order and maybe I looked hungry?  The beef was cut much thicker than anywhere else I've had pho. This did make a heartier bowl than I've had anywhere else, but also made things chewier. Pho does not always consist of top-cut beef. There's also a healthy serving of rice noodles along with the beef and broth. I might go back to try the spring rolls if available and will check Pho Ben's consistency of service and edibles.

As many others have mentioned, you should definitely try the lemon chicken. It was a fantastic dish, reminiscent of Mongolian BBQ with its charbroiled style. However, after enjoying it, I still felt that my craving for traditional Chinese food wasn't satisfied, as it didn't quite have the typical Asian flavors, even though it was delicious. I arrived about thirty minutes before closing and was disappointed to find out that they were out of soup and egg rolls. That was a bit of a letdown, so I ended up picking up soup from another place on my way home. Despite that, I will definitely come back specifically for the lemon chicken!
