Once we sat down to wait for our food, a young man from the counter came over to let us know that no potpies were ready at the moment. He explained that the manager had gone home sick, and no one had put the potpies in the oven. He was very apologetic and offered us a refund, along with a complimentary meal for the trouble. However, my wife really wanted her potpie, so they quickly got to work on baking it while we waited. It took the expected 25 minutes, and when it arrived, they continued to apologize for the delay. We were completely understanding and reassured them that these things happen. In the end, my wife was delighted with her piping hot potpie.
