Cheever's Restaurant offers a mix of exceptional food and great service in a lively atmosphere. We shared food, and I highly recommend doing that. The waiter (Mario) divided food for us before bringing it to the table, which was very nice. We shared a chopped salad (very good), a small plate of quail prepared with a Mexican flavor profile (also very good), and the house specialty of chicken fried steak with jalapeño gravy and mashed potatoes (excellent). The main entree was enormous. We finished off with their version of fried ice cream, and it was as good as everything that had come before it. We had no alcohol, and our bill came to under $70 before tip...an amount I've often spent at places like Outback for significantly inferior food. If we get back to OKC, we'll definitely visit again.
Another wonderful experience at Cheevers. We held a wedding shower in one of their private rooms. Service and food was outstanding. They were really easy to work with on decorating for the event.
Great atmosphere in a small location. Service is above and beyond. Prices are in line with quality and service. Only draw back is no domestic beers. All in all I will go back.
Cheever’s was recommended to us and we’re so glad! What a fantastic meal we enjoyed! They have a diverse menu with something for everyone. I had their renowned Chicken Fried Steak with the jalapeño gravy and it lived up to the hype! The chocolate cakewas delicious and huge! Three people could easily share it! The wine, cocktail and beer menus offer a great variety of drinkoptions for the perfect pairing with your meal. The atmosphere is warm and comfortable…. perfect for date night, or meeting agroup of good friends. We’ll be back!
Was there to celebrate Wifey’s birthday! We got there at 2, not knowing that brunch wasn’t over til 3. That kinda sucked because we were looking forward to the lunch/dinner menu. No worries, we got the chicken fried steak which was amazing!! Rachelwas very cool. Cheever’s never disappoints
