Cheevers Cafe - Edmond

Cheever’s is a hidden gem. My wife and I went out for a night on the town and stopped by Cheever’s to give it a try. We were not disappointed as the food was delicious and the evening was spectacular. I would recommend making reservations. When we arrived reservations were booked for the next two hours but they graciously gave us the option to sit outside and be seated right away (Friday night). Service was pleasant and my wife and I will surely be returning. Interesting history and a wonderful place for a date night. I highly recommend. Food: Grilled Ribeye- delicious, the enchiladas on top are a great addition I haven’t seen before Molasses Roast Chicken Breast- great dish if you are looking for a more humble meal Cocktail: The Motto- gave me flashbacks to a cocktail I had on our honeymoon in Vegas, deliciousness with a kick

Worth trying. I have been twice and both times I had a pleasant time.

2023 Update. Just went and the chicken fried steak was not good anymore. It was a tiny and overcooked piece of meat with sooooo much bread. Talked with the server who was pretty nice and gave us a different dish. Staff was still pretty nice and polite but food was not, which is pretty sad as it was my favorite place. Wow! Amazing food. Servers are super nice. Calm and nice atmosphere. The chicken fried steak was delicious and prices are reasonable. Perfect for a date or business meeting.

There's a reason this place is #1 when searching for best chicken fired steak in OKC. The food is delicious, and the CFS is phenomenal . The CFS portion size is huge. This meal could feed at least two people. The crispy Brussel Sprouts are OMG! The green beans are good. The table bread is warm and smells like little pizza rolls a little salty but definitely delicious. The staff was friendly and on top of everything. We wanted for nothing. Walkins are welcomed, but I do recommend a reservation to make sure you get a seat. They can get a little busy, but service doesn't suffer, and neither does the food.

I loved the food and the waitresses are so good at explaining everything and recommending menu items drinks are great to just the atmosphere is a big classy to fancy for me but would definitely be back for more food thanks again for a awesome meal
