Excellent crab sandwich. The Hash on Rice side was also very good. We experienced a flat tire while we were parked there. The owner went out of his to line us up with a tire shop. Southern hospitality is still alive on Edisto Island, SC. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

This is a cute, quaint restaurant. The staff is very nice! The food was just ok. My shrimp and grits were ok. The grits needed seasoning as they were very bland. The shrimp were cooked nicely. Out of four people, only one of us loved their food. We did share the fried oysters as an appetizer, and they were delicious! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner

My first visit to Edisto Island for our 25th anniversary and I was introduced to the best dining experience in the low country. The food was exceptional and the service was down home friendly. I struggled with my food choice but I do love fresh crab so Mary Susan's Crab Cakes was the choice for me. I was not disappointed. My husband vied for the Fishing Creek Shrimp and Grits. He orders shrimp and grits all over the SC state and he places this flavorful dish in 2nd place. That is only because he had to put my shrimp and grits first or move to the dog house. We will be back Friday
