Wooram - Edison
Wooram
Description
Cozy, owner-run Korean spot serves authentic comfort dishes—beef short rib soup, short ribs, jajangmyeon and omurice—in generous portions at reasonable prices. Friendly, polite service and ample parking make it great for quick bites or takeout, though the small dining room and counter-style service lean more casual than full-service; some guests note occasional inconsistency in temperature and seasoning and limited banchan.

I absolutely love this restaurant for its authentic Korean cuisine. They serve the best kimchi stew and black bean buns I’ve ever had!
I’ve been searching for a standalone Korean restaurant for a while, one that isn't a buffet or located in a food court, and I’m thrilled to have discovered this gem. I highly recommend it! It's a small, cozy spot with friendly service and an extensive menu. The beef short rib soup is rich and creamy without being greasy, and the short ribs are incredibly tender and juicy. The Jajangmyeon was delicious, featuring small chunks of pork. We also tried the omurice, which was tasty, although the omelet wasn’t as runny as I expected when cut open. Overall, I really love this place and can't wait to return to sample more items from their menu!
We dined at Wooram when it was located in HMart and were eager to try it again after its move to a new location. We're glad we did! The food has improved significantly and is incredibly delicious. The portion sizes are generous, making it a great value for the price.
Im a pro tip. I Knew this place since it was a foodcourt in hmart so went to check it out after it moved out. However, even it became a legit restaurant, everything was the same: the menu, how it is served in togo container instead of a dish (one small amt of kimchi served not other banchans served), and no server, just the owner. When leaving, the owner told me that i have to tip now since it is a restaurant now, but It did not feel any different than the foodcourt at hmart. Food is mid but the whole situation added up to not want to tip at all. I would just say it is not that worth going, there’s better legit restaurants with better service.
The man that served us was very kinda and hospitable. Small little dining area and kitchen, nothing exquisite but does the job perfectly. Food portions were large and served on a large tray with utensils, condiments, etc. Overall great service and good food. Note the drinks they have are canned/bottled and this is more of a takeout/quick bite place
