Was Ron J at Sigiri a mag?
I've been ordering food from this restaurant for over ten years, and it has consistently maintained the same great taste and prices. I truly love this place, its staff, and the owner. I hope they receive even more business in the future! View all feedback.

What Wendy Crespo dislikes about Sigiri:
The decor was very pleasing. The rice and curry were enjoyable, and the mutton curry was delicious. However, the string hoppers were hard and stale instead of being soft and moist. The staff assured me they were fresh and not frozen, but that turned out to be untrue. They were not edible and had to be discarded, which felt like a bit of a scam. Pol sambol and aapam are very good and must try.Pol roti also is a good option but there are very less vegetarian options here.Do try out if you’re missing Srilankan food

However, I noticed that the fish curry wasn't as sour as I'm used to, which made it somewhat disappointing for my taste (I'm not sure if that was the intended flavor since this was my first experience with Sri Lankan cuisine). The sambol reminded me of Kerala-style coconut chutney, but I felt that the small bowl was a bit overpriced. On the positive side, the salad was excellent. My children ordered roti with mutton curry and kothu parotta. The kothu parotta came with a bowl of gravy that was unfamiliar to me. The mutton curry also differed significantly from what I typically enjoy (I’m more accustomed to Indian-style dishes). I realize now that what I’m used to is quite different from what I experienced there, especially since I had never eaten Sri Lankan food before. The Sri Lankan iced tea tasted like regular lemon tea with ice; I didn’t notice any distinctive difference. The service was friendly, but no one checked in to see if we needed anything else. I think I might go back since I’m eager to try more dishes.
