Chef's Table - Edison
Chef's Table
Description
Chef’s Table has garnered attention for its vibrant atmosphere and appealing presentation, but diners have reported a significant decline in food quality and service. While some dishes, like the Hakka noodles and Manchurian, received praise for their flavors, others fell short, with undercooked naan and tough tandoori chicken disappointing patrons. Service inconsistencies, such as serving cold food and incorrect orders, hindered the overall experience. Despite some highlights, including prompt service during busy hours and thoughtful offerings like malai kulfi, many feel the restaurant is veering toward a generic chain feel, leaving guests yearning for the excellence it once provided.

"The Hakka Noodles were delicious and the Red Thai Curry (Veg) and Chili Paneer were also tasty. However, they did not include rice with the dishes, which was disappointing as other restaurants typically do provide rice."
The naan bread was undercooked, the tandoori chicken was tough and dry, and the butter chicken had a strange aftertaste. The noodles were tasty but too spicy for children. We have dined at this restaurant before and were satisfied, but we were very disappointed with the food we received today.
I appreciate when the restaurant serves the food piping hot, and it always surprises us. Thank you to the team for their effort. The food tastes good, but I think it could be a little spicier.
