Description

Nestled in Edison, NJ, this compact, mostly takeout spot serves bold Tangra-style Indo‑Chinese flavors with standouts like hot‑and‑sour soup, spicy wings, garlic noodles and Schezwan rice. Service is fast and the owner is warmly attentive; portions and authenticity draw mixed reactions—some praise generous halal-friendly combos and value, others find portions small or flavors uneven. Clean, casual counter-service seating is limited, making it ideal for quick, spicy Desi‑Chinese cravings or to‑go orders, with occasional standout dishes worth returning for.

“ok place, not so great...” heard about this Indian-Chinese place from some friends, though it would be worth to go from Morristown to Edison. but this place is not that great. it more like 'to go ' place. Taste is good but not like authentic Indian (i heard it is, but not). we tried momos, chicken chilli, egg role, schewzan rice, Hakka noodles, schewzan chicken. Schewzan rice and noodles were good… service was not that good. for to go-definitely recommended.

We visited this restaurant for the first time today, but unfortunately, they don't offer dine-in, so we had to take our food to go. After reading all the reviews, I had high hopes for an authentic Indo-Chinese experience, but I ended up feeling disappointed. The hot and sour soup was quite bland and lacking in flavor. I noticed there was no ginger in any of the dishes, which made me question its authenticity as Indian-Chinese cuisine. The garlic noodles were the highlight of our meal, while the Schezwan rice was just mediocre. The paneer chili was primarily green chilies tossed in soy sauce with a bit of paneer. Overall, I wasn't satisfied with the quality of the food; it was edible but didn't meet my expectations.

The Hot and Sour soup is simply out of this world! It’s the best I’ve ever had in New Jersey. I actually ordered it three days in a row! The lady at the counter is incredibly kind; when I mentioned how much I loved the soup and that I had tried their noodles but would prefer them a bit more cooked, she took my feedback to heart. While the noodles are likely fantastic for others, I have a unique palate! To make me happy, she even gave me complimentary soup one day. I found that gesture truly heartwarming and a testament to their dedication to ensuring 1000% customer satisfaction. I will definitely be a loyal customer for life!

Overall, the food was excellent. The eggplant with garlic was incredible, and the vegetarian Lo Mein was just as outstanding. However, I recommend skipping the Thai curry, as it isn't authentically Thai. Just keep in mind that this is takeout only. It's definitely a hidden gem!

We visited this restaurant several times, each time hoping for an improvement, but unfortunately, it never did. The portions were small, and the flavors were mostly unexciting. Additionally, I don’t understand why a Chinese takeout place would offer chicken, beef, and shrimp but no pork. Catering to only 2% of potential customers while the other 98% is left dissatisfied is quite puzzling.
