El Falafel Bristo Place - Edinburgh

I can confirm that this restaurant in Edinburgh serves the best falafel I have ever tried. The owner is very friendly and is passionate about sharing the flavors of the Middle East through his falafel. Served with Syrian flatbread, tahini dressing, pomegranate seeds, vegetables, and optional spicy sauce, this falafel is on par with the original in the Middle East. Don't miss out on trying this when you visit the Meadows!

When this restaurant opened in the same location as the Beetroot Cafe, I was thrilled that they would be offering vegan options again! After trying the falafel wrap with a student discount, I was hooked. I returned the next day and ended up going back almost every day to fuel up during my study sessions in the library. The falafels themselves are excellent, but it's the amazing salad, fresh chilis, tahini dressing, hummus, and the packaging that make it incredibly delicious. Definitely the best falafel in Edinburgh, and possibly the best I've ever had. I can't wait to visit again in September when I'm back in Edinburgh!
