What Archie Chapman doesn't like about The Dining Room at The Society:
Food was excellent as ever, but service upstairs for pre-dinner drinks was very slow, and miscommunication between bar and restaurant led to a long delay after paying and before leaving while their misunderstanding over the bill was sorted out. My impression is that the new configuration does not always work very well. View all feedback.

Fantastic find in edinburgh after a good day in the city we decided to reward us with a beautiful restaurant. we ended up in the dining room and were surprised. the place was very accommodating and we saw to our joy that it offered a menu with whiskey pairing perfectly for Scottland. the food was excellent, the service a pleasure. definitiw a good place to finish a day in edinburgh.
Excellent meal, especially the healed. great wein and of course also whisky.
