Absolutely! We had a fantastic New Year's Eve dinner here. The food was fresh, creatively prepared, light, and absolutely delicious. However, what stood out the most were the incredible employees—friendly and professional, making us feel like we were far away from Edinburgh. Happy 2020, and I look forward to returning soon!
I've visited this restaurant twice, and I must say that the quality and creativity of the dishes are impressive, especially considering the reasonable prices. The food is fresh and seasonal, which is a big plus! The staff is incredibly friendly, and I highly recommend this place to all food lovers. Highlights from the menu include the mushroom crab dish and the lamb platter.
Just taking a glance at the menu of this restaurant reveals that something special awaits. We ordered the venison, and it was outstanding—both in presentation and flavor. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with friendly and attentive service. I also appreciated the visibility of the talented chefs at work; it adds to the overall experience. Kudos to the great staff! I give it 5 stars!
Amazing eating beautifully presented, everyone bites a delicious experience. best short nativity I've ever had, amazing gnocchi, asparagus bowl (picture) was a true winner. service was top-notch: polite, knowledgeable, explained with any court. the best I had in edinburgh.
Great food and lovely staff. We had friends from out of town come and they felt very welcomed. Each dish was meticulously made and they were very aware of food allergies which was a big part with our group. Not somewhere I'd go all the time because it is a bit expensive for my tax bracket but it was a special occasion and Sonder is perfect for that.
