To be honest, I didn't try many vegan options, but what I did have was delicious. The restaurant has undergone a change since previous reviews, now offering a full vegan menu including ramen, sushi, kimchi, and more. The staff was lovely, and the atmosphere and decor were great. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Maki Ramen South Bridge:
There was a change to the menu when this restaurant reopened, it seems. Choices that could be made vegan were no longer easily identifiable. There is a vegan option available, but it doesn't sound particularly appetizing. The veganized pho dish that I ordered was disappointing, especially the broth which was thin and lacking in flavor. It felt like a step backwards in terms of their vegan offerings. View all feedback.
Ramen is delicious. the menu has a separate vegan ramen.
Stopped in and had a ramen bowl which was great. Nice and spicy my friend had pumpkin and edamame rolls which he enjoyed as well
Menu shows all options that can be veganised. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Yummy food
The Maki Ramen on South Bridge has a more informal feel than its other locations, and specialises in ramen and other comfort food. I had the miso ramen, and they swapped out the egg noodles for rice noodles to make it vegan. It was really delicious, and wonderfully comforting on a cold day!
There was an update on her menu, as this branch opens again, I think. Options that could be veganized were no longer marked. There is a vegan ramen, but it doesn't sound very appealing. The veganized fog wheels I went for were pretty poor, especially the broth that was only watery. It just felt a bit like they made a step backwards with their vegan offers.
