What DavidG likes about Boat House:
We chose the Scallops as our main dish and they were delicious, but the standout dish was the black pudding accompaniment (from Stornoway, I believe). It was absolutely fantastic! Everyone else in our group also enjoyed their meals, the service was friendly and efficient, and we had a great view of the Forth Estuary and Rail Bridge from our table. View all feedback. Our group of six came here for a birthday lunch today. The food was good quality, but unfortunately, many items were unavailable from the menu due to a busy day the day before. The service was slow, although it was nice not to feel rushed. We would consider giving it another try, as it may have just been a one-time issue. The views from the restaurant were fabulous.
