We were not really here, but came out of the next door for a drink and it was great. they played great songs while we had a few beers and watched the end of the foot. well maintained atmosphere, banging melodies and friendly staff. I would probably... come and stay here if I came back to edinburgh

I really like this hotel. personal friendly and they work under pressure. I usually go after the rugby. I wanted a quiet drink. it was quiet, but nice to get away from the delusion of the edinburgh festival. you really have to give it. try to make them eat what I tried in the past. this is such a hidden gem.

I waited for almost ten minutes to be served and it was not a busy time. The woman who served me was disinterested, rude and also got my bill incorrect!!! I was surprised that for such a decent looking hotel that the staff would be...so very impolite and poorly presented. I also over-heard a loud female staff member making crude remarks about one of her colleagues, which was clearly in ear shot to guests! Both myself and several other customers heard everything. It was a terrible experience and I feel management and colleagues should be made aware of their very disrespectful and rude members of staff!

Today, a group of us used a Groupon voucher to visit this restaurant. The staff were excellent, and the burgers - featuring three cheese and one with chili - were top-notch. Each burger came with a side of chips that were some of the best I've had in a long time. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience that shouldn't be missed.

Bought a voucher for sunday lunch. Meat and potatoes overdone and veg underdone. Service was lacklustre at best. We werent even offered a starter or dessert. Would not recommend under any circumstances. Table booked under Julie. .
