I didn't have high expectations for this small restaurant, but wow, it was amazing! The food was excellent, service was top-notch, and the prices were very reasonable. The atmosphere was lovely and the staff were very attentive. I don't know the name of our server (dark skin with glasses), but they were great. The cocktails looked beautiful too. We will definitely be returning on our next trip to Edinburgh. View all feedback.

(dark skin with glasses not sure what their name was. essocktails looked beautiful. in any case will come back on our next trip to edinburgh!
I really didn't know much about this place, except that it was in the west end, I liked to name it and that I had decided to go a voucher deal so much. the voucher was £20 for two starters, net and two glasses prosecco. we had a table in a hug corner with a sofa and a high-growth armchair. the mad hadr is a relatiw small place, but has a cozy feeling. the menu was extensive and offered a good selection, although there was something in the dessert department with only one missing in the offer (but it was sticky toffee pudding.) I decided to camembert, followed by a steak sandwich for my main. my escort went for the spring rollers for the starter...read more

I liked the mad hadr. it is in a slightly unpleasant situation, but I hope it keeps as I can see that I like the late night pop-ins
