Went here in a ver6 large group and was really impressed with everything considering how many of us 5here were all eating at once. We had ordered food before the evening which would have helped but all went very smoothly and food and service was great. Bar had a great choice of beers as well so all good. Lovely location by the river where we stood to have some drinks before heading to the restaurant View all feedback.

to celebrate the birthday of my wife. it is koeliac, but in the past it has enjoyed gf meal times at the bridge. Decided to go today for brunch but were disappointed to find the place closed till March.Doesn’t say that on the web site.Obviously needs updated
Booked for daughter in laws birthday 4 adults 3 children. 4 year old ordered pasta, basically macaroni with a sauce that looked like straight from a jar, his comments were that’s discussing, didn’t eat. As for the rest of meal was good but well over priced. Asked in the bar for 2 glasses of rose wine £19.40 thought we were drinking in George Street in Edinburgh not in a small village pub/restaurant. They have got to think about pricing.
Very nice traditional Sunday roast lunch 3 meat choices). Good plateful and friendly attentive staff.
Very disappointed. We had heard good things about this place. Very noisy atmosphere; basically a crowded pub. The food is very “artistic”, which we found to mean small portions and inflated prices. I had to send my hake back as it was undercooked; second portion arrived, smaller but still undercooked. Tiny amounts of vegetables and dots of things on the plates. We also felt very rushed indeed; three courses and we were out within a hour and a half! For the price we paid we could have enjoyed much better food and a much better atmosphere elsewhere. Very sad, as this was my birthday! One or two highlights: our waitress was very friendly and polite, so thank you to her. Also the cocktails were good; we would never come back for dinner, but we would come back for cocktails on a sunny day, sitting outside by the canal.
