Wanted to order a cocktail for a friend (voodoo hoodoo os something). the barman was rude and did not care to pour a complicated cocktail, he said he could not serve us and was very steadfast. I thought I heard it wrong, that's the first time that this happened to me. I literally couldn't believe it, we just sat at the bar with a regular good time. will not come back.
When we arrived in edinburgh a few days ago, I looked at zomato and was exaggerated at the number of places that are always and higher. either they're just happy up here, or there's a full of top-no that we don't get into the colonies, and then somewhere that gets that? eating was great, the beer good and the service and the atmosphere excellent. simply the best place where we have eaten all the time in the city, and a suitable end meal.
Oh my word, such a good burger. we went during the day, so it was pretty quiet. the burgers were highly packed and filled with cheeky, meaty quality! they even serve a peanut butterburger I would like to try. this place is if you want a casual lunch date with summer or a good pub style burger place in the evening.
I keep think the black fuchs is new when I'm past him and that I'm visiting. After they have opened up last summer, it cannot be classified as new, but after a recommendation from my cucumber and native james, it was at the time that was for me to try. it seems a few new gastropubs have been added to the eclectic roster by leith walk bars in the last few years. lioness of leith, V-Deep, serrano Manchego and, recently, leith depot and the maus trap are intended to provide the all-expanding student population in the region, and that can only be a positive thing.
The place is located on the main street and has a laid back surround, for that I would give it a Best place to relax and have some good food. We ordered subs and Cajun burger. They serve the burger along with some fries and salad. The fries are spicy and tasty. I would rate the rood as The ambiance is really well done and I would give a Overall, a nice place to relax and eat, that makes it out of
