the personal was friendly and professional, I and my partner had a Sunday dinner here and we felt welcome since the first step. we had a sb platter than sharer starter and it was delicious. the knochenmark was succultivated, but the Haggis croquettes were a little disappointing, they lacked the taste that one expects from haggis. for the main we had the chateaubriand and the meat itself was absolutely heavenly. such... Had a few great meals over the last few years but the standard has dropped significantly and we were disappointed. 3 of our 6 steaks were supposed to be medium but were very well done and the sides were nothing to speak of. The Outhouse is fantastic! I attended a birthday party in the playroom, and everyone was so friendly and welcoming. It was a wonderfully fun event. I highly recommend it!
The interior is cozy, but there's a lovely beer garden. The staff is extremely friendly.
This lovely little spot was discovered during Edinburgh Cocktail Week, and I can confidently say we will be returning. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the cocktail I had was the best I enjoyed all day.
Fantastic tucked away beer garden, best place for a drink just near the top of leith walk. Do note that they don't do any food though!
A perennial favourite, the Outhouse now has strong, nearby competition. No problem. Friendly, helpful, accommodating staff. Fast service.
