While some customers have reported long wait times and issues with pricing accuracy, others have praised the restaurant's COVID-19 safety measures and friendly staff. The store is described as small but efficient, with a good selection of sandwiches for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. Overall, Subway offers a convenient option for a quick lunch or snack, with a loyalty program and free refills on fountain drinks. Despite some complaints, many customers have enjoyed their experience at this location.
Like any subway clean, good eating, in a very comfortable location. only the problem is the lack of sitting places, but you can always sit in the foyer or on a bank in the princes garden
They really admire that subway people deal with learning disabilities. I would go back alone for it! delicious eating is a bonus!
This must be the most disappointing Subway I have ever been in. There was no-one in front of me when I went in but nobody on the bread. I had to wait a couple of mins before someone finally appeared. I asked for Hearty Italian...bread only to be told there were only types of bread and that wasn't one of them. I ordered a cheesy pepperoni but when I got to the till I was charged for a spicy italian. I pointed this out only for the guy at the till explaining to me that was the cost of the sandwich. I said it was a cheesy pepperoni then the initial server apologised to the guy at the till (not me) and said it was a cheesy pepperoni, He then charged me correctly but no apology. Way to make your customers feel totally insignificant. I certainly will not be back here.
My visit to the Subway in Waverley Mall was during the restrictions, I was very impressed with how well the place was managed. When I came in there were a couple being served at the counter and I waited patiently on one of the.. Stand here spots. Once I was served I approached the counter and a few people came in behind me. The lad behind the counter was very firm with them about where they should stand in the shop and two customers had to wait outside which they did without argument. I ordered a ham salad and it was made to my specifications. The lad who served me was friendly and polite and the salad tasted really good,
I’m coeliac and was treated really rudely. The girl defrosted my gf bread then proceeded to lift my partners non gf bread out. When challenged her and her boss raised eyebrows. They did do a new one and the girl at the till( blonde scot)...was very rude and abrupt with her “ you do know we can’t guarantee no contamination “. Worst subway I’ve been in.
