It pains me to write this review but my visit to the establishment was a disappointment...I ordered a punjabi thali...the food had “reheated” feel to it..it lacked flavor.I tried to finish it but couldn’t! The glasses were unclean, the staff wasn’t particularly friendly...the lady serving us...turned a customer away even though an empty was available...wouldn’t recommend it.. View all feedback.

Yesterday, we visited this restaurant at the end of a workday. I purchased a bottle of wine from Majestic, a nearby shop, while my wife placed an order for food. I had freshly prepared fish pakora followed by lamb and rice, while my wife had a veggie main course (potato dish) followed by barfi. We arrived early, just as the restaurant opened at 6, so it wasn't busy at first. However, as we sat there, more people arrived, some ordering takeaway curry boxes. They prepare batches of most main courses, which means less waiting time. We had a chat with some of the staff, who informed us about upcoming refurbishment plans that may result in the restaurant being closed or moved to a nearby location within the next year. We also learned that the restaurant owner participated in a food festival at the EICC over the weekend. The food there is good and affordable, and it supports Sikh Sanjog, a charity that helps women with integration, education, and career opportunities.
Great little Indian place. would definitely recommend. the curries are really delicious and authentic (remembered me of the house hooking of my mother it is not imaginative in the inner, but that has not disturbed me since eating is delicious and very favorable, it is also byob. I will be back in any case!
This restaurant lacks authenticity and doesn't seem to prioritize cleanliness. It's best to avoid if you want to prevent possible stomach issues.
Sunita and everyone else at Punjabi Junction were absolutely amazing when they provided the catering for our wedding earlier this year. We had been into the restaurant before and loved it so were really excited to hear that they offered catering for events. We were...able to come in several times to meet with Sunita and try various items in order to make sure we got the food right for the big day. On the day they were so considerate and you wouldn't have known that they were working so hard in the background to get the delicious food ready for the meal. Everyone at the wedding loved the food and people were very keen to find out where we had got the food from. I would really recommend Punjabi Junction to anyone organising a wedding or a large event and can't thank Sunita and the rest of the ladies enough for making our big day as amazing as it was.
