Cheapness is here the key, cheapness and chicken. they are everywhere on shandwick's wide menu. I even think they are in the walls and are insulating us against the cold. I would not be surprised if in a more canibalistic reality chickens over crazy to make cooking in the kitchens of shandwicks. if it is so, do them a damn good job, because the service is certainly not slow. neither are the portions weak, in which they are winged (I often wonder why when you go into the bar to order the barman, does not ask simply and how would sir like the chicken meat today, but they are firmly joined together and they can certainly not mistake them if the five-one-bit pounds are priced. read more

We popped into shandwicks whilst we was in Edinburgh and what a great pub this is excellent prices for Edinburgh great service from the staff I would deffo recommend keep Up the good work guys and gals you are amazing

Very good prices for the city centre, amazing staff and a quality DJ on the weekends! Would definitely recommend!

Overall, this restaurant is a great place to visit. I have started bringing my coworkers here because the drinks are reasonably priced and the staff are friendly. Declan, one of the bartenders, is always welcoming and polite. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to unwind with a few drinks after a long day at work or before a night out. I can't find any faults with this place.
