Hanedan - Edinburgh, City of

A group of us dined at Hanedan on a Wednesday evening. One of my friends had been before and highly recommended it. The restaurant has a quirky and intimate feel inside, with multiple sitting areas. We started our meal by ordering some meze to share, including feta and spinach pastries, spicy garlic sausage, halloumi, and meatballs in tomato sauce. Everything was delicious, but my favorite was the feta-filled pastries. I even enjoyed the meatballs, which I usually don't care for, but the sauce was fresh and full of flavor. For my main dish, I chose the mixed grill based on a recommendation...

I absolutely adore this place! Although it may not be the most visually appealing restaurant, the food and service are fantastic.

The restaurant has amazing food and a pleasant atmosphere. Be sure to make a reservation for the weekend.

We love hanedan. we eat here a lot and have never been disappointed. it has a cozy atmosphere and service is always excellent. we always have the huge and usually the thin cut steak that is delicious. they make an eton measuring type dessert with pineapple or earthberry that is really good. the coffee is excellent as the baklava.

An amazing place with great food and always a warm welcome. Have lost count of the number of times we've been. Prices are very reasonable too. Try the mezze for two as your starter.
