this is somewhere where I regularly visit and enjoy when I am at the western end of edinburgh. the decor is absolutely stunning, gives them a historical feeling of edinburgh and the eating that is served, even if it can be a standard pig duve, but tastes sensational and it always helps that the staff, especially the bar staff, are extremely friendly and welcoming. a very disappointing pub in a big one against the city. the prices for eating and drinking are too much for the quality of the plate and the offered refreshment. the workers seem to be good enough, but they were not able to give me a lot of insight into some of the beers they had on the barrel that was thoroughly disappointing and a massive farewell. the food was cooked quickly and the steak was asked to rarely do, b... Always a great night, good atmosphere great food great service. Defo worth a visit if you’ve not been already, staff have a good sense of humour get a good laugh
5 out of 5 the staff, beer and atmosphere were great, the staff went out of there way to help us get seating, they even brought our drinks over to my table as I walk with a stick. Very friendly and I will be back.

Expected standard basic pub grub but instead we were treated to a truly lovely meal and lovely service. Pleasantly surprised and would return if we're ever in the area again.
