We visited this place for cake and desert but as we walk in to the place we felt a bit hungry and had a breakfast for kids and a panini for me and my wife panini was spot on just what we needed and the kids really liked the breakfast as well. I also would like to talk about the decoration in this place as well it was very well decorated and some old pics you could see that would bring a smile to your face : View all feedback.

Excellent pineapple and black oliven pizza, delicious! I have to eat at least one every day! (and possibly at any time!) ... other foods (like fries is also good and the price is really fair.
Called in on a busy Sunday morning. Had to wait to get a seat. Plenty choice on the menu for various full breakfasts and sandwiches. Food arrived quickly and was hot. Husband loved his sausage and egg roll. I had bacon and eggs with toast. Eggs were abit undercooked, bacon was so thin it was see through and toast was the cheapest of cheap bread. None of this would have been a problem but it was about the same price that I had paid the previous day for a much higher quality plate of food that had much more taste. On a good point, the tea was good.
The previously known cafe, now called Edinburgh Cafe, had friendly staff but fell short in other aspects. It was pricier than other cafes along the Royal Mile and the food was mediocre at best. We tried the Scottish Breakfast and American Breakfast, both of which seemed to have been reheated in a microwave and were presented sloppily. The toast was unspread with butter and limp from the microwaved eggs. The coffee was served cold. Overall, there are better dining options to consider.
