Pleasant food and very friendly helpful staff. Restaurant lighting quite dim but we were able to get a table near the kitchen which was brighter. Able to linger without being hurried along. Special menu well priced with a nice house wine and we would definately go again. View all feedback.
What fussyfoodie doesn't like about Cumberland:
Having eaten at the brasserie before and enjoyed it I was pleased to find availability on NYE. We ate early evening (7:30) but there was still a good number of diners and a good atmosphere. The food was very good, the service ok and it came to £45 a head for 2 courses and drinks (including cocktails) so pretty good value. View all feedback.

One of my favorite Fergus loves a visit here. It is a great place, on our park route and we go home along the cycle path, through the old...
Great get-together with a group of friends. Very quiet when we attended on a Saturday lunchtime but that wasn't a bad thing. Tasty food and pleasant environment. Quick service in general. Good value for a lunch menu at a hotel although we were a little surprised by the steep price of the teas.
The staff were very friendly, efficient and attentive. The brasserie is stark and unwelcoming. The food was lovely.
