We popped in by chance. The bread was very good. Had: apricot walnut loaf, whole wheat loaf hearty bread. All organic and non profit (if that matters to you). The staff (baker) was very helpful. If you want some nice hearty bread on a walk to the coast, go in. (Note: you pay for organic ingredients). View all feedback.
I stumbled across Breadshare on my way back from Portobello Beach. I went in to buy some bread to take home and make lunch, but after seeing their menu I decided to sit in. I had the egg sandwich with spring onions and it was delicious. The food is simple, filling and tasty. The coffee is great too. The man who served me was so welcoming and so is the atmosphere. It's also a non profit organisation so prices are cheaper than other cafes in the area. For the quality of the produce they could easily charge a lot more. They also retail local flour and hold workshops for those wanting to get into bread making!
Do not walk past here please you will be missing out. Bread share gave worked so hard since they opened. They deliver locally too. Beautiful bread and nice and fresh.

I had the best hot chocolate in Bread share Bakery. The place is lovely and they are serving a wide range of cakes, banana cake was super delicious. They also support the community, what else to say? <3 the only thing it would make this place better is a little but if music in the background
After a walk along Portobello beach, I noticed this shop when walking home. Popped in and I was given a warm friendly welcome by staff. After they explained what bread they had to sell and what they offer, I stayed in for a snack and a hot chocolate. Spoke to the staff to find out everything is freshly baked, the bread is made for all needs and the staff are very professional able as well as knowledgeable on their products. Do not walk past the store, but do go in, you will not be disappointed. I will be going back and highly recommend others do to. They do bread making courses and sell their own flour to customers who wish to make bread at home.
