Fab special offer of 3 courses and a bottle of wine between 2 for £40 on a Saturday night. What a fab little place. Food was fantastic the haggis bon bons were amazing! Loved the food here. Staff were so friendly and it was a great place where you could grab a meal without feeling rushed and enjoy each other's company. Would highly recommend View all feedback.
What Fatma Ulusoy doesn't like about Agua Restaurant And Bar:
Two stars for the place. BUT food is tasteless and doesn’t feel fresh. Chicken sticks awful, dry and dull! Veggie and Green beans are plain don’t feel fresh. Salmon is okay not the green beans! Feels like they use frozen food! The service wasn’t good it took us long time waiting to order! View all feedback.
Agua had a lovely meal on offer this summer, three course and a bottle of wine for two for only 40 pounds. There were plenty of choices, and the dishes were very tasty and well presented. Staff were very friendly and spontanious.
Took a last minute table last night. The food was ok, as was the service and the room, but there's nothing amazing here
A great restraunt. Great staff, good prices. We were staying at the Apex City of Edinburgh hotel whuch is where the restraunt is located. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner here and I could not find a fault with anything. The staff are very friendly, polite and helpful. Robert who we saw a lot of during our stay is a credit to the restraunt/hotel. The quality of the food was excellent with plenty of choice at Breakfast. I can't comment on the price of breakfast as this was part of our stay. The price for lunch/dinner and drinks was very reasonable.
Ate here as we were staying in the hotel but it was a nice atmosphere, strong menu and delicious food; excellent service too. The haggis bon bons are FIT.
We booked a table through 5pm for a visit to the Edinburgh Tattoo. The offer was 3 courses wine for £40, a fantastic offer for Edinburgh. The visit started well, we were taken care of fantastically by a waiter who's name I didn't catch.. (tall chap with glasses)He was welcoming, very efficient and spent time to chat and make us feel comfortable even though he was busy. The food is great value for money, the haggis Bon bons chicken fillet burger were delicious, the tagliatelle was also fresh and tasty.By the time dessert arrived the restaurant was very busy and the few staff were stretched way too thin. A different waiter hastily gave us the wrong dessert but was away so quick we couldn't even tell him. There were not enough staff, the waiters on service were practically running to keep up. We couldn't get anyone's attention so ate dessert I would never choose nor did I enjoy. We managed to get the bill and politely explained the error. Again the waiter dealt with it perfectly.Unfortunately, as the bill was passed to us we noticed that we weren't given the 5pm offer price, the charge was £5.50 more than advertised.Again the staff were running all over the restaurant and had a show to catch so we just left a smaller tip than normal. This could have been a fantastic experience, just let down by overstretched resources who are frantically trying to keep things afloat. A real shame.
