What Philippa A doesn't like about Abdul's:
Had the chicken passanda , chicken korma and chicken dansak. It really wasn’t nice. Tasted like dirt. Chicken was tough and tasted old. In general very disappointing. The naans were ok. View all feedback.

So on Friday to watch the football we ordered an Indian takeaway for my Wife, Son and myself from Abdul's, Comiston Road Edinburgh. This was duly delivered and devoured. Last night I received a phone call from Abdul's apologising that I had been overcharged by £3 and that they would drop an envelope through my door with the money!!! I thanked him for his honesty and told him just take it off my next order. This might be a boring wee story but I was amazed that 24 hrs later, they went to the bother of calling me to apologise over a £3 overcharge! So well done Abduls and here's a plug for your shop. Ps Tell him I sent you : AUTHENTIC INDIAN CUISINE Abduls Indian Takeaway 22 Comiston Road, Edinburgh EH10 5QE Tel: 0131 447 4999

And we've certainly never experienced illness like another reviewer. We're fans of their kormas and tikka massalam too is pretty tasty. It certainly lacks finesse in terms of appearance, and I try not to look through to the kitchen, but if you ignore the cosmetics I think you'll find the food is pretty good.
A very small Indian farewell to the hermitage, formerly known as the morningside glory, and has just enough seats to provide a handful of customers who wait for their food to be cooked that eat is incredibly beautiful, every time I go, I have another curry with another meat, and another starter than well. my friend swears at lamb korma and I can't blame him. but for those who after something more than a kick to him, the vindaloo is fantastic. actually, everything is pretty great. the fish pakora for starter is a firm favorite of me, but sometimes can be something too fattening the perfect brand is lost because sometimes the person who...more
