Southdale Center - Edina

This was Americas first mall and it's very sad to see it so empty. Luckily it has strong anchor stores to keep it open. We went to Dave and busters and pretty much just went straight there from the 2nd floor parking. Saw a neat looking mini golf course on the 1st floor but didn't get any closer.

Easy to navigate and incredibly spacious. Plenty of parking. I wouldn't say this is better or worse than the Mall of America just a different experience. I like how the Southdale Center is roomier, less crowded and more laid back than the MoA.

Macy 's at Southdale offers a great selection of good good quality clothing for men and women as do a number of other shops in the mall. Enjoyed shopping there yesterday and impressed with a large selection of women 's dresses. A new store for me at Southdale is called Dry Goods with an interesting clothing selection and Southwestern flair. Another new store for me is called Daily Threads and has some cute, reasonably priced women 's clothes. The mall is very clean and wasn 't crowded during my visit there.

It was an okay mall. We didn’t have the opportunity to do more because they close at 8pm. Which is pretty early for my standards.The place was clean and nice looking. Besides Macy’s and Macy’s Backstage, I don’t know what other store the mall has or how big it is or what options they have available in their food court.

Very nice mall but the parking is always super challenging and honestly part of the reason why I rarely shop here.
