one of the best vegan pizzas we tried. really good crust. they made the half with vegan cheese and half without for us. the pizza was $19 and huge. we stopped here during the travel to eat and buy organic fruit and regularly stable products to eat on the road. wish my local whole foods made a pizza so good. the coffee was also great. What User doesn't like about Whole Foods Market:
I was just here once, but I found a few lavish when I looked very closely. most items are super expensive, so if they only eat organic food, then expect to pay much more in this load. I could not believe that the prices on some things! on the other hand they can come here to find some healthy vegan foods that are more difficult to find. View all feedback.
I often buy at Whole foods, an upscale supermarket chain in Manhattan. From the moment you go through the door, you are greeted with luck. You feel like the workers really want to be there. From Larabars to So delicious ice cream, you call it, they have it. There are a variety of vegan essences.
We have been shopping at this restaurant for years, although we have been going to Westerly Market more often lately. The store does a decent job of stocking basic vegan items in the coolers, but there are some issues with the hot food section at the front of the store. The vegan pizza options at the pizza station were disappointing. The use of Daiya cheese and vegan meat analogues made the pizzas taste off. The salad bar also left much to be desired, as it lacked flavor and was overpriced. Overall, it is convenient to have a vegan-friendly option in Manhattan, but the store could improve its offerings in the prepared food department for vegans. (Update: February 23, 2015)
This is one of the best vegan pizzas we have ever tasted. The crust was really good. They were able to make half with vegan cheese and half without for us. The pizza was $19 and huge. We stopped by this restaurant during our trip and also bought organic fruit and shelf-stable items to eat on the go. I wish my local Whole Foods made a pizza as good as this one. The coffee was also fantastic.
I only visited this restaurant once, but I was able to find a few good deals by carefully looking around. The majority of the menu items are on the pricier side, especially if you're only eating organic. Some of the prices were quite shocking to me! However, if you're looking for healthy vegan options that are hard to come by, this might be the place for you.
I often visit Whole Foods, an upscale supermarket chain in Manhattan. As soon as you step inside, you are met with a welcoming atmosphere. The staff are friendly and make you feel valued. They offer a diverse range of products from Larabars to So Delicious Ice Cream, catering to all needs including a wide selection of vegan essentials.
