We love Mitsuwa and always enjoy spending time there, and lately we’ve been eating at Santouka. But yesterday, there was a very rude manager behind the counter who was assisting the cashier. We were confused about the combo and asked the cashier for help. The cashier didn’t know the answer and called the manager. The woman responded rudely, snapped something at us, and walked away. That’s really not acceptable. Next time, we’ll probably eat somewhere else. The food itself is always delicious though we especially love the miso ramen and the rice bowl with salmon and fish roe. The combo menu chart is really confusing! It definitely needs to be redesigned in a simpler, more user friendly way. If you want a ramen that’s not too salty and strong in flavor this is right place to be. They have different sizes to choose from; I got a (small) Spicy Miso Ramen. I enjoyed it! It was $14.34. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
My family and I have been to this place and bought 3 pork ramen with salmon role, and veggies. The food was wonderful, and the service was wonderful. The atmosphere was that there were a lot of people waiting on the line to order and many people were waiting to pick up the food. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Generous Portions! I really enjoy Santouka and was thrilled to discover that they offer delivery.
This is so delicious—it's the best ramen in New Jersey, for real!
